Die starke Stimulierung der Synthese möglicher weise saurer Kernproteine unter Insulin läßt sich mit diesen Befunden in Einklang bringen. Die Aufgaben der sauren Kernproteine bei der Regulation auf Genebene sind in zunehmendem Maß Gegenstand der Spekulation. Einige Polyanionen, besonders saure Proteine, Polyäthylensulfonat und RNA 20-23, steigern die endogene RNA-Synthese von isoliertem Chromatin.
